While
it is not CHLF's primary business to provide tours of
Israel, we do encourage pilgrimages and hope
that you will take time to meet some of the
'living stones' among all the magnificent
ancient ruins and special places in the Land
Where Our Lord Walked and Taught.
Living Stones
are those amazing Believers that are still
seeking to know Jesus in a place rife with
conflict and contradiction, persecution and
promise, prophets and profits. Whether they
are Arab Christian Believers or Jewish
'Messianic' Followers, these are people that
need the support and fellowship of the Body
of Believers around the world [I Peter
2:4-5]. They are in
many ways forgotten because of their
relationships with the State or Orthodoxy,
or because they do not fit in somebody's
view of politics or eschatology.
Please take the time to
pray, worship, fellowship, talk, greet, and
walk with these people. Do it for
them, and you will come away wondering what
just happened to you! Most pilgrims
report afterward that the time with these
Brothers and Sisters is a highlight of their
trip, not a sacrifice of time and effort.
We have recently
begun planning two trips each year
to Israel with a specific purpose of
blending the pilgrimage experience
with fellowship & worship with our
Brother and Sister evangelicals in
the Holy Land. One trip each fall
will include helping to bring in the
olive harvest (a significant source
of income for many in the Christian
community), and each spring we'll be
taking part in the Israeli 'Mother's
Day' event that celebrates and
encourages the role of Godly women
in a culture where they are often
mistreated. Each trip will, of
course, include 'seeing the sites'
that are common (and some that are
uncommon) to a pilgrimage in the
place where our Lord walked.
For more information
about upcoming trips, follow our
blog at
www.CHLF.org/FreeSamples, or our
social networking site at
www.Facebook.com/CHLF.org.
And, if you might be interested in a
private tour experience with six persons or
fewer that would include extended times
with the local Believers, we arrange those
on a case-by-case basis. These
tours are very intimate with greater custom
control over your time and experiences.
Prices begin around $3500 per person and all
trips are customized to the group's
preferences. Expenses will include a portion that will be
identified specifically for use in the local
ministries of church planting and making
disciples of the Christ. For more
information, or to begin planning your trip,

Samples at
