For over 20 years, the annual Mother's Day Celebration put on by the Galilee Team has deeply impacted women from across Israel. And it hasn't just been limited to one day a year. This event has launched dozens of small group Bible studies and discipleship gatherings! Here is a powerful report about the 2025 celebration from Rose, who is the visionary and director of this beautiful and fruitful event.
“More than 600 women gathered this year, with a higher percentage of unchurched women than in previous years—many hearing the Gospel for the very first time. We shared a message about Betzalel, the one God anointed to build the tabernacle, and reminded the women that when God calls us, He also brings the right people alongside us to help fulfill that calling.
The message deeply resonated. Many women felt stirred to take an active role in reaching their families and communities. During ministry time, several came forward asking for prayer to become spiritual builders in their own homes. It was clear that God is awakening women to serve and lead.
The response was overwhelming: over 200 women made a decision to follow and serve God, many requested personal follow-up and invited our team into their homes for continued encouragement and prayer.
One pastor’s wife shared that she had been spiritually dry for months but left the event reconnected to God and ready to dig back into ministry. Another woman approached us with tears—she had come to the celebration 13 years ago asking for prayer to have a child. This year, she returned with joy in her heart to say that her 12-year-old son is living proof of answered prayer.
For the second year in a row, the government did not allow women from the West Bank to attend. But we could not allow them to feel forgotten. So we took the celebration to them, hosting a special mini-event in Bethlehem. We brought along the same gifts given at the Galilee gathering and assured them that even across man-made barriers, we are still one family in Christ.”
