Commitment to Safety
CHLF is committed to the safety of our partners, leaders, and trip participants. While traveling always involves risks, we have over 30 years of experience with safe, missional pilgrimages. We are committed to the safety of travelers and will not put you in a position of undue danger. The areas we visit are not affected by conflict. Groups from America can expect a warm and hospitable welcome in these locations, and there is no history of tour groups being targeted by violence. Israel also has a very robust warning system that CHLF utilizes while traveling alongside a network of trusted locals. Should issues arise that jeopardize the trip's safety, we will make all necessary adjustments, including canceling the trip. CHLF does not profit from these trips, so we have no motivation to put travelers in danger.
While these trips are a wonderful way to experience the Holy Land, the missional aspect of these pilgrimages sets them apart from a commercialized tour. We believe in the transformative power of standing with Christian families living in the region. We believe that if we can go we should go in order to show our brothers and sisters that we care about them and their ministries. We invite you to step out on a journey to not only experience a place but also to strengthen your faith and the faith of those you meet.
