Celebrating Baptisms

In September 2025, we witnessed something extraordinary. In the span of just seven days, twenty-five people, most of them young adults, followed God in obedience through baptism. Fifteen one weekend, ten more the next. One after another, they stepped into the waters of the Jordan and came out with faces radiant with the joy of new life.
At CHLF, we believe every part of what we do matters. Helping struggling families put food on the table. Supporting home groups in villages with no church presence and only a handful of Christian families. Providing safe and welcoming experiences for severely disabled children. Tutoring refugee kids who are struggling in school. Offering medical care for those displaced by war.
All of these ministries are essential.
But nothing compares to moments like this. All the patient sowing, tending, and faithfulness of our partners across the Holy Land come together when a disciple goes under the water and rises again with a testimony of faith and obedience.
These new brothers and sisters returned to communities scarred by two years of war, places where following Christ is costly. We continually pray that God would strengthen them, sustain them, and lead them into lives of faithful gospel proclamation.
God is on the move. And we are humbled to play even a small part in His great work.
