Randa, one of our Galilee team members from the Beine church, sent us the following account about their 2025 VBS. Every year, VBS is a huge outreach effort for our team! We praise God for the way it opens doors for His love to be shared with so many people in the Holy Land.

From Randa - VBS Family Day

“The Lord magnified His work with us more than expected on the last day, and we give glory to Him for He is good.

On the last day, we invited the parents with their children who were at the VBS to the kibbutz of Nes Ammim. We had prepared a challenging adventure for them, where parents and their children would play together and search for the treasure by answering questions as clues to guide them to the next step.

Our purpose was to encourage and strengthen the ties in a fun adventure, because we saw that the children need to spend time with their parents away from the things that keep them busy and occupied. We did not expect the response of the parents, and we were surprised that almost all of them came and took part in this game that lasted for two hours, while having fun, laughing, and with big smiles on their faces.

After the treasure hunt, the parents expressed their thankfulness and appreciation for this time and the effort. Many exclaimed how precious it was that we gave them this time with their children, to laugh, run, and enjoy together, in addition to the time that the parents enjoyed with other parents from our town.

Following the camp, we witnessed encouraging fruit in several families. One family came to us with many questions regarding the Scriptures. They sought clarification about the differences between our teachings and those of the traditional churches. We responded with love and patience. At the end of the conversation, the father said: “In you, we see a faith we have never seen before. Please, I place this responsibility upon you—come to our home, visit us, and disciple us.”

We thank the Lord for opening this heart. Very soon, we plan to visit them personally and begin walking with them. We ask you to remember this family in your prayers.

Another family, also after the camp, approached us asking for prayer concerning personal challenges they were going through. We followed up with them, prayed faithfully, and they testified to seeing the hand of God working through our ministry. We continue to encourage and support them in their journey.

We give the glory to God.”
